Here’s a review of the concert from B.B. Kings New York. The new members of SHALAMAR ar Rosero McCoy and Nate Allen Smith. It’s going to take a minute for people to grasp that this is a new era of SHALAMAR. New unexpected chapters are about to be written with the surprise twist that no one saw coming becoming the legal and registered trademark owner. The chapter on the classic 3 lineup ended in 1983 and for me there was never a longing or a feeling of “the book was unfinished…” – the era ended as it was intended to. We briefly revisited a moment in the 90’s with Babyface and it didn’t pan out – for a reason. That legacy will always remain but it’s a new day and time. It’s exciting to bring youth, fresh vibes and energy into the mix wherever this journey leads. The universe and the business provided a new opportunity to begin new chapters with a new cast. SHALAMAR Reloaded.
